Ingredients sweet potato 3 no. medium size carrot 3 no. Black gram / Urad daal 2 tsp Channa daal 2 tsp Mustard seeds 1tsp Cumin seeds 1tsp Turmeric pdr 1/2 tsp curry leaves 1strand garam masala 1/2 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp cilantro 1/4 cup salt to taste Sunflower Oil 2tbsp
Preparation Place oil in a vessel and once it is heated add the channa daal, urad daal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric pdr, curry leaves and fry it for 2 min, once it is well roasted and you hear the popping sounds add the sweet potato and carrot mix it well and cook until little soft, then add the garam masala pdr, and salt cook for a another 5 min, in the end add the lemon juice and cilantro leaves mix well and it is ready to serve hot. It can be served on the side hot with rice and daal.
