Ingredients kale 1 bunch onion (small) 1no. Black gram / Urad daal 2 tsp Channa daal 2 tsp Mustard seeds 1tsp Cumin seeds 1tsp Turmeric pdr 1/2 tsp Curry leaves 10 Coconut 1/2 cup sambhar powder 1tsp huli powder or tamarind water 1/4 cup salt to taste Sunflower Oil 2tbsp
Preparation Place oil in a vessel and once it is heated add the channa daal, urad daal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric pdr, curry leaves and fry it for 2 min, once it is well roasted and you hear the popping sounds add the kale and mix it well and cook until soft, then add the tamarind water or huli (sour) pdr, sambhar pdr,onions and coconut and cook for a another 5 min, in the end add the salt mix well and it is ready to serve hot. It can be served hot with rice or chapati.
